Ever since its founding in 1982, the Allium&Brassica Centre has offered independent advice to growers and packers on all aspects of Bulb Onion and Brassica production and storage – and the only way to ensure our advice keeps matching the needs of growers is to base it on specifically tailored trials.
Our ORETO accredited trials team now undertakes independent research for agrochemical companies, government organisations, AHDB and grower groups.
The Lincolnshire Demonstration Site
Together with Farmacy Plc, our Brassica Demonstration site in Lincolnshire is exploring new and existing options in crop protection and nutrition, to find invaluable insights for brassica growers.

Facilities
The centre has controlled atmosphere storage for 3,100 tonnes of produce, a purpose built seed store and 2,000 m² of modern glass and polythene tunnels for plant breeding work.
