Through the Farmacy Foundation, applicants join the most dynamic and successful agronomy advice and supply business in the UK!

Our Foundation training programme equips you with the technical knowledge, expertise and customer focus essential to establish yourself as a successful agricultural or horticultural advisor.

The programme exceeds the industry recognised qualifications of BASIS and FACTS and provides in-depth training on areas including soil, environmental and agroecology services.

New entrants to the Foundation are selected each year from a range of universities and colleges, as well as from positions within farm management and other industry related backgrounds.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the ability and dedication to develop their technical, commercial and interpersonal skills to the highest levels.

What happens next?

The programme starts in 2023.

There are two intake cycles for the 2023 training programme, as outlined below.

Once you have applied, we will be in contact to let you know if you have been successful in being offered an interview.

First cycle

  • First stage interviews will be held either in person or online, taking place in October and November.
  • The second stage interview will be face-to-face, taking place over the following dates (location tbc):
    • Tuesday 1st November
    • Thursday 17th November
    • Wednesday 30th November
  • The final interview will take place on Monday 19th December in Wisbech.

 

Second cycle

  • First stage interviews will be held either in person or online, taking place in December and October
  • The second stage interview will be face-to-face, taking place over the following dates (location tbc):
    • Friday 27th January
    • Wednesday 22nd February
    • Friday 10th March
  • The final interview will take place on Wednesday 29th March in Wisbech.
