NRoSO Annual Training Events – Now Online
The 2020-2021 NRoSO Annual Training Events have moved to a web-based platform ...
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, there have been none of the traditional NRoSO roadshow update sessions this winter (from trainers such as Hutchinsons), but instead NRoSO have been working with the providers of Ei-Operator (https://www.eioperator.com/) to develop new web-based e-learning courses and they went live from 14th January 2021.
The Arable and Fruit training courses are both available via www.Eioperator.com
Full details of the modules within the two courses are available on the Ei-Operator website, so you know what to expect when you enrol.
To enrol on the course (and to pay) please visit the website www.Eioperator.com – registration will cost £30.00 (£25.00 + VAT) per delegate and will allow you to complete the course modules at your own pace and if you don’t manage to pass first time, don’t worry as you will be given unlimited chances to do so.
The courses are very much interactive, with tasks to complete through each course and after each module a short questionnaire is needed to be completed, to allow you to continue onto the next.
The arable e-learning course involves four topic areas and after each section there will be a small multiple choice question section which requires 80% pass rate (or 4/5 questions to be answered correctly in each section) to move onto the next module.
Similarly, the fruit e-learning course involves three topic areas and after each section there will be a small multiple choice question section which requires 80% pass rate (or 4/5 questions to be answered correctly in each section) to move onto the next module.
All course modules are required to be completed before details are passed back to NRoSO for your CPD points to be allocated.
Collecting your CPD Points
When you do successfully pass the course, you won’t need to do anything further as the NRoSO support team will be informed and they will update your CPD points within a month of you passing – the same applies to BASIS members.
How long will it take me to complete?
NRoSO anticipates that each module will take approximately 25 minutes to complete (30 minutes for the fruit) with five minutes to complete the multiple-choice questions – so an average two hours, and as such the course is awarded eight NRoSO points for this year (eight BASIS points are also allocated).
This e-learning will be available until 30th June 2021 and members who sign up before this date will have until 31st August to complete, there are also unlimited attempts to pass this. The cost of taking the annual training course is £30.00 (£25.00 + VAT).
